On July 9th, Denis Manturov, the RF Minster of Industry and Trade, accompanied by representatives of the federal agency and the Minister of Industry and Science of Sverdlovsk Region, Andrey Misyura, visited the Ural Turbine Works (ROTEC Holding).
The head of the Ministry inspected the main machine-assembly department of the plant, where he was shown equipment for the turbine plant of the ice-breaker "Arktika", finished and ready to be dispatched, and casing pieces for turbines of Т-120/130 and Т-295 types, manufactured for OJSC Mosenergo and Central Asian Electric Power Corporation (Kazakhstan). The plant management presented new products and plans for further development of the plant, and familiarized the visitors with capabilities of the plant's design office, which performs the complete range of design works for all products, manufactured by the plant.
Mikhail Lifshitz, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ural Turbine Works: ’The Minister was interested in opportunities of our company at the power engineering market, our strong and weak points. We hope that we managed to convince the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to rely on our company in meeting the challenges the Ministry is facing. For the past five years we have not had any slow delivery or major faults in equipment operations. We are open to participation in any program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the field of power-plant engineering, marine power plants and heat-exchange equipment.’
