The 2017 Suvorov Prize awards ceremony took place in Moscow. The purpose of the award is to encourage Swiss-Russian innovative projects and to promote bilateral technological exchange between Russia and Switzerland.
The shortlist of the Suvorov Prize this year included 50 innovative startups. The awards were given to the winners by Mikhail Lifshitz, Pavel Gudkov, Deputy Director of FASIE, Galina Sato, President of Granite Group and Nelly Orlova, founder of InnMind.

The main Suvorov Prize this year was awarded to the project “Bionic Max”, which develops bioelectrical prostheses with microprocessor control. The Prize also noted the project for joint remote operation of Neurocode users, antibacterial photoactive materials for internal finishing of rooms developed by the Financial Management Program of St. Petersburg State University, application to improve convenience of making phone calls Time to Say, and the St. Petersburg State Pediatric University and the EurAsia Heart Foundation project for joint development and operation of a pediatric cardio-surgery department.
The Suvorov Prize is awarded to the best Swiss-Russian innovative project in the field of science, technology, medicine and other innovative economic sectors. Especial attention is given to startup companies whose activity promotes bilateral exchange between countries. The Prize was founded by the Swiss-Russian Forum Foundation.
