ROTEC started implementation of two EPC projects in the field of industrial generation. The company is engaged as General Contractor for construction of power unit for ammonia production in the city of Kingisepp for EuroChem-North-West JSC as well as it will perform reconstruction of CHPP for industrial facilities of Solikamskbumprom JSC. With conclusion of these contracts, ROTEC keeps on developing its business in power engineering, as well as in the sphere of investment and construction contracts.
For ammonia production, plant to be constructed in Kingisepp ROTEC will develop the project of power unit, as well as perform all the required construction and installation works and commissioning. Power capacity of the unit will amount to 12 MW. Steam from ammonia production (gage pressure — 4.6 MPa) will be used for electric power generation. The new equipment will also supply steam (pressure from 0.6 to 1.0 MPa) to the utility system of Phosphorit Industrial Group. Time between overhauls for the unit will amount 40,000 hours of continuous operation, and service life — 40 years. Putting the equipment into operation is scheduled on September 1, 2018.
The second project — reconstruction of Solikamsk CHPP — will allow improving efficiency of fuel and energy resources utilization, as well as reliability of heat and electricity supply to Solikamskbumprom JSC. For this purpose, as a part of reconstruction, ROTEC will perform all construction and installation works, as well as commissioning of the equipment for generation of heat and electricity based on three gas-reciprocating units manufactured by WARTSILA. Total installed capacity of this equipment will amount to 54.9 MW. As part of this project, ROTEC will perform optimization of utility systems, preparation of foundations, construction of buildings and installation of all required engineering systems and equipment, supplied by WARTSILA. The project includes turbine hall, buildings for electrical equipment and waste-heat boilers for exhaust gases, transformer substation, as well as compressor room and pump station. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for July 2018.
