Mongolian delegation headed by Zandaahuu Enkhbold, Speaker of the State Great Hural and Chairman of the Democratic Party of Mongolia is visiting Yekaterinburg.
On September 24, Enkhbold Zandaahuu met with Yevgeny Kuyvashev, Sverdlovsk Region Governor, to discuss issues of cooperation in the field of high-tech industries, energy and education. The meeting was attended by executives from a number of companies, including Mikhail Lifshitz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UTW, General Director of ROTEC, and Igor Sorochan, General Director of UTW.
Trade turnover between Mongolia and the Sverdlovsk region has grown in recent year to reach $43 million in 2014 – its highest level over five years of continual cooperation. During the meeting, the emphasis was placed on the project for the construction of new power unit at Ulaanbaatar CHP-4, which has been the largest project undertaken in the past 20 years. The Mongolian side chose UTW as a general contractor and supplier for the project.
Tomorrow on September 25, Zandaahuu Enkhbold plans to visit the site to look at how reliable Ural turbines are manufactured.
