Ural Turbine Works presented its range of steam turbines at the Innoprom-2013 exhibition recently organized in Yekaterinburg. The steam turbines are used for autonomous power generation in various industries, such as petrochemical, metallurgical, machine building, cellulose and paper, etc.
Today, the generating equipment manufactured by Ural Turbine Works is used by many industrial companies, for instance, by the CHPs operated by VAZ, Achinsk Alumina Refinery, Arkhangelsk Self-Contained Paper Mill. The industrial companies using their own generators are energy independent. They also enjoy the benefits of the uninterruptable utilities supply with cost saving.
The equipment presented by the company encompasses engineering solutions ensuring high reliability and performance. UTW manufactures products for companies of various sizes. Thus, it offers equipment starting from power rating 30MW for small-scale metallurgical facilities. It also manufactures equipment for industrial application of extracted steam with the power rating 90 and 140MW. UTW offers turbines with backward pressure and power rating up to 125MW to the companies consuming the steam on a large scale.
